My One-Day Trip

A few days ago, I had one-day trip to Angso Duo island together with some of my buddies. They are Riva, Yeni, and Rahman. All of us took a train from Padang to Pariaman in the morning at seven o‘clock. But we had to queue up to buy our tickets since six o’clock. In this city, the departure schedule of train is twice a day. We chose the first departure from Padang to Pariaman.

After waiting for one hour in the stall beside the station while having our breakfast, our journey to Pariaman was commenced. We have never met each other since graduating from our university. So, we excitedly spoke many stories that made our one a half journey in the train be wonderful. We were full of the joys of spring in the time. We laughed freely because of our happiness.

Especially for me, this was my first time having holiday in Gondoria beach and Angso Duo island. I had never gone there before. When we firstly stepped our feet on the ground, our body extremely sweted because of the weather. We went to the market and bought our lunch. We gluttonously ate sala lauak (culinary special in Pariaman), kacang miang, fried shrimp and crab while waiting our boat to cross from Gondoria beach to Angso Duo island.

Because we had holiday in long weekend, there were so many people in the same boat. Because of that, our boat was difficult to sail. It took a long time to float the boat on the seashore. The distance between Gondoria beach and Angso Duo Island is not faraway. It needs only about five minutes to reach Angso Duo island.

In Angso Duo island we made much best moment. Some of that was eternal in our pictures and vidios. We had lunch in Angso Duo island with our supplies. Unfortunately, we had bad luck because of unclear spilled water made our rice more juicy. High noon flees so far, we had to go back on the train. Sky was cloudy. Luckily, it was rain when we were sitting on the boat.  

The worst part of our holiday was standing on the train from Pariaman to Padang. We thought that if we had a ticket, we would comfortably sit on the seat. We were absolutely wrong about that. When entering to the railway coach, there were dense crowd of people. We felt very silly because of that, but we decided to be happy. Finally, we stood for more than one hour. One of my frieds felt queasy during our trip.

Those are all of my memories spending holiday with my friends. I do not know when we will meet up anymore because we stay in different city and have many activities. Thanks a lot guys!!!! I hope we can meet as soon as possible.
